小费乐园

No English translation provided (yet); it's too mundane to bother with the translating now. This is merely a sentence structuring exercise.

Newcastle?”

Hey.. Did u meant the topic "废"?
Haha.. but IF that's what it is, it's supposed to be like broken Mandarin, cos I think we used it a lot during our schooling days cos influenced by HK movies or sumtin. Maybe it's some direct translation to mandarin kinda thing. Hehe...

Anyways, SO niceeee, tips only waiter/tress get??? Ur boss very nice arr... Hehe...

Yes, I think you are right, its 废, not 非. I didn't realise it was slang mandarin, but nevermind, it sticks.

Thanks.

Yeah, i think the tips distribution mechanism was designed as a motivation tool for the waiters. Anyway it's only a few dollars.

know something? initially, i thought u meant 啼笑皆非 instead and was wondering if you actually omitted the first 3 characters instead.

On the whole, your chinese sounds half slang half foreign, such as this老板也还没来,"更" 别说有客人在吃饭 etc etc

Reminds me of my attempt in learning Malay which is really 1/2 "tong shui". No, less than that.
=)
