Floating Orbs

Note that the lower droplet is actually on its way up. Also notice the depression on the surface as a result of that droplet being rejected.






Concentric Exploding Crowns

The first drop blasted the surface open, resulting in a crown-like structure. A second, smaller droplet then impacted on the new surface within the crater.






I got bored with water and added some olive oil to the water.... The small ellipsoidal structures are actually bubbles of oil below the water surface.






Splashback Column

Olive oil is extremely viscous, and rarely ever splashes. This is one of those rare shots- splashing oil, in an axisymetric fashion too.
