Paper Free Tuesday

Paper Free Tuesday is a collective movement to protest unbalanced, biased and incomplete coverage of news by the mainstream media. By selecting one day of the week, it is hoped that boycotting action by all participants will coincide, resulting in an obvious and persistently low circulation on Tuesdays.

“No newspapers on Tuesdays”

At home, this little note is stuck on the wall just next to the house keys, serving as a persistent reminder to all that we are protesting the unfair and biased news coverage of the local newspapers.

i must be so environmentally friendly then. I don't purchase papers at all :P

then again, we kill enough trees just by printing our working papers...

This household will have trouble surviving with no newspapers at all, so we pick Tuesday to abstain. The noticible gap in the tuesday circulation numbers will be obvious if more people pick tuesdays for their partial boycotting.

We purchase papers on non-Tuesdays but i haven't been reading them anyway :p
I used to print pdf books to read, which is quite paper-intensive.
