The Semi-Melodramatic-Amorous Life of Mr Proton

Unlike most particles in the neighbourhood, Mr Proton was born an abandoned orphan. A product of the careless collision of 2 wayward heavy-ions in a cyclotron induced high, Mr Proton was doomed to lead a stigmatized life.

While he courted electrons furiously, he never formed anything beyond a meta-stable interaction with them. Most of the time it would be a high energy bang and scatter relationship.
