Autumn sunset photographs

The colours looked promising- freshly fallen autumn leaves, refreshingly green grass, splashes of golden sunset light.

The tree-lined central dividing strip on one of the roads below my apartment was precisely that- promising.

Quickly borrowing a digital camera, I went outside for some fun. Had to be fast- meteorological conditions can change at the drop of a hat, especially when the sun is setting, colours shift from yellow to orange to red while dimming rapidly.

It was a really beautiful day (on the small scale) along the busy Elizabeth Street.

Ah, a hantu like me. :P

Lets exercise prudence. What if they like each other so much that one says to the other "I want your pollen in my stigma". They might just breed like proverbial rabbits and overpopulate the globe with daisies. Then daisies will no longer look pretty (to us unimportant humans).

Haha.. The 2nd picture is nice & cute to look at. Looking from a different perspective, it can tell a story too.

I like it that u make them the "subject" of the pic =)

To the blue shirt guy who got kicked in 'Flight of Fantasy':

Its almost 24 months since that kicking happened; the photo is still in use. If i keep this up, and if any one of us becomes really famous, one of the following might be valid:

"Hi. I'm Yee Wei."
"The one who kicked LYH in that photo on today's Strait Times lah."
" you're that guy. So how did it feel to kick a future physics superstar?"

"Hi. I'm LYH."
"The one who got kicked by Yee Wei in that photo on today's Xin Chew Daily lah."
" you're that guy. So how did it feel to be kicked by a future auto-mechanics wizard?"

Macro shots can sometimes give a refreshing change in perspective. Part of the reason i love my macros- the closer-up the better.
